Marmox Self-Adhesive Waterproof Tape
|
A simple way to create a permanent waterproof seal. This product should be used around all shower formers where it meets the adjoining floor, the wall and the internal corner. It should also cover joints in all areas prone to regular wetting. The seal is made by peeling off the backing paper to activate a permanent waterproof adhesive which is then pressed firmly into place. The tape must be subsequently secured be completely covering it in tile adhesive when the tiles are applied.
This product is not suitable for covering gaps larger than 2mm: in such situations, either a polyurethane sealant or a jointing paste should be used. |
| Wall Brackets |
Used for connecting the boards with the wall or the floor. The bracket spikes are pressed firmly into the surface of the board, and then the board is offered in position, and screwed through the holes of the bracket.
|
| Perpendicular Brackets |
| Used to hold two boards perpendicular while the adhesive is drying. The bracket spikes are pressed firmly into the surface of each board, after applying a bead of silicone on each board side. |
| Joint Brackets |
| Used to connect two boards together in line such as partition wall. The bracket spikesare pressed in the blue core of each board after applying a bead of silicone in between. |
| Marmox Washers |
With the appropriate screws, our slimline plastic washers grip tightly into surface as they become almost flush with the board. Packs of plastic washers are sold in bags of 100.
We also sell steel washers. |
| Marmox 60mm Dowels |
A fast and reliable method of fixing 10mm, 12.5mm, 20mm and 30mm board is to use the tough corrosion free dowels. With the boards in place, a hole is drilled through the board into the wall using a 10mm bit, the stem is inserted into the hole and the nylon expansion pin is then driven into the stem to expand the tail of the fixing.
